October

^^ On Tuesdays, we drop Uriah off at piano and walk the bike path next door. Love this time with just my blondies! ^^
^^ On Wednesdays we venture out with our Wild + Free gang! We typically frequent the river, but this little farm won the kids over with all their cute goats! ^^
^^ Oh Judah Budah... You are my very favorite! ^^
^^ Judah and Maxwell at our Side by Side Halloween playgroup! Gosh they are cute! So thankful for these friends! ^^
^^ Pumpkin patch day! One of my favorite days of the year! Accompanied by the day we get our Christmas tree :) Stephen was working, but we ventured out to our favorite pumpkin patch with friends and made the most of our Saturday morning, missing daddy all the while. ^^
^^ Baby boy on a Sunday at 32 weeks ^^
 ^^ My favorite scene ^^
^^ Another Tuesday on the bike path ^^
^^ So many snuggles in mom's bed! ^^
^^ You don't have to ask me twice...! Another Saturday morning at the pumpkin patch, this time with Stephen! ^^
^^ October brought the arrival of two sweet new babes - Georgie and Caleb. Getting to meet the was oh so wonderful! ^^
 ^^ Days with Judah ^^
^^ A very long Friday in Labor and Delivery. Baby wasn't moving so I went in to be monitored and they discovered I had low fluid levels. After drinking my weight in water and waiting several hours...my fluid levels were still low. Which lead to a week of monitoring and testing and a little bit of misery. In the end, all was well! But gosh, this baby gave me a real run for my money this pregnancy! ^^
^^ The only thing on Stephen's "before baby gets here to-do list" was run a 5k (why was my list so much longer!?) And he did it! In under 20 minutes, no less! Uriah and Ezra ran the half mile kids race and loved it! Poor Judah was sad he didn't get to participate, but our post walk to the river to throw rocks in the water made up for it ^^
^^ Harry Potter, a unicorn and a "boo!" Pre-church trunk or treat the week of Halloween (which was spent in our neighborhood after a warm bowl of chili with friends ^^

September

September means the start of school (and also our annual trip to Oregon, but that will come in a separate post) As always, lots of park dates, lots of learning, lots of friends and lots of love in these walls we get to call home.

^^ First day of school! The kids were greeted in the morning with sprinkled cinnamon rolls and decorations. We most dove into our read alouds and sat around the table talking about our yearly goals. First grade and pre-kindergarten... Here we go! ^^
^^ My tired, hot boy at the park, watching the big kids from afar. Oh I'll eat you up I love you so! ^^
^^ Book delivery day is always a good day! ;) We are up to our eyeballs in children's books in this house and I wouldn't have it any other way! ^^
^^ Snuggles in daddy's arms, fresh out of the bath and saying "Judah" for the very first time. A blurry picture of the cutest moment! ^^
^^ Slowly starting to cool down enough for our morning walks! Though I am much slower than I was in the spring, it's been nice to get this crew out first thing before starting school for the day ^^
^^ Side By Side has been such a blessing to us (all!) since we moved to Sacramento. Happy to be able to partake for two more years! ^^
^^ There is something in the water at Grace Sacramento! All five of us are due October-November and somehow managed to sneak away (kid-less!) for some pampering! We ditched the husbands at our house with 7 kiddos and got ourselves some pedicures! Thankful for these beautiful mamas and to be doing this pregnancy thing alongside them! ^^
^^ Uriah suggested we take a picture of our matching hair and hair ties before church. I will never tire of matching my (only!) baby girl! Let's hope she still enjoys it for several more years! ^^
^^ Technology is just so tiring... ^^
^^ Uriah being the sweetest, most patient big brother. Judah could read books all day long and I love that Uriah can now take on some of the reading load! I don't think Judah minds ;) ^^
^^ Every morning that the kids are awake when Stephen leaves (which is rare) they ask to chase him down our street. Judah has recently joined in and it's just the cutest thing...! They all run down the block waving and yelling "bye daddy!" It's quite the site! ^^
^^ We have caught four praying mantis' this year! This, is French Fry. We caught him as a nymph and got to watch him molt into an adult! Uriah has turned me into such a bug nerd - it was the coolest thing! ^^
^^ Recovering from vacation... I don't blame you, kid ^^
^^ Always reading, I told you! Also, so very ready for a big boy bed. Mama's holding out until well after baby brother joins us, though! ^^
^^ My four year old looking eight. NO. BIG. DEAL.
Daddy took the big kids on a bike ride to Funderland on one of his days off. Judah was napping and I got in some clean and relax time! These kids are so lucky to have such a fun and attentive dad! ^^

August

August was another hot month for us, spent outside in the mornings and napping in the afternoons. Being pregnant in a Sacramento summer is no joke...! Lots of fun and adventure all the same.

^^ Park dates in the morning, lunch with dad in the afternoons. The kids adore baby Hudson and were thrilled to be taking him down his first slide (over and over and over again!) I was equally thrilled to see my hubby mid day and not have to make lunch! ;) ^^
^^ Sherri came for a weekend and we took her to the woods! We met some friends on our favorite trail and spent most of our morning collecting black berries and splashing in the "swimming pool". Also getting Poison Oak... Sorry, Stephen! ^^
^^ With Sherri in town, Stephen and I sneaked out for church service, a lunch date and some shopping - my ideal day! ^^
^^ Just a snap of Judah being cute. So much of my camera roll is filled up with stuff like this! ^^
^^ Another Wednesday at the river! ^^
^^ Summer evenings at the local elementary school. Love these kiddos! Judah is getting to be quite the speed demon on his scooter! ^^
^^ Into the mountains with friends again for a stay at the Summers' cabin in Lassen National Forest. Gosh it was beautiful! We saw some rain (but were able to build a fire despite it!), ate too much yummy food, built forts and sharpened sticks, stayed up late chatting about life, hiked through the woods to a beautiful waterfall and enjoyed our weekend immensely! Blessed by these friends and their cute babes! ^^
^^ Porch hangs with my big boy. When?! How?! ^^
^^ These buddies...!! Judah loves to put in Uriah or Ezra's bed while we sing songs at night before moving to his crib. I'm so thankful his siblings let him and show him so much love! ^^
^^ A weekend in Palo Alto! We got to surprise Uriah's buddy at school, share our Friday pizza movie night with our favorite friends, have an inside camping sleepover and celebrate Ally's birthday with Allison's yummy baking and good company. I miss doing life with this crew oh so very much! ^^
^^ Proof it was a weekend well spent! ^^
^^ Just my kids being cute and big - Ezra at the zoo Judah reading away (always!) ^^
^^ We spent several Saturday mornings this summer at our favorite park with doughnuts in hand and dad on the playground with us - a new favorite tradition! On this particular Saturday, we also took Ezra in for her very first haircut! It was shortened less than an inch, but I couldn't get over how old she looked sitting in that chair! ^^
