June

This should probably be a two part post, seeing as how we spent almost the first half of the month in Alaska, soaking up every minute of Stephen's two week vacation. He hit the ground running when we got back, as usual, but we were still able to enjoy the rest of our month here in Sacramento!

^^ He worked 31 out of the 33 days leading up to this vacation. Every moment off was well deserved and cherished! ^^
 ^^ At Uncle Aaron's property! ^^
^^ Botanical gardens with cousins (and baby bumps!) ^^
^^ Fishing with Pa and some extra Wall boys, rain storm included! Ice cream was well earned by all! ^^
^^ Date night/day numero dos! Avengers movie and a burger - just what momma and baby wanted! ;) ^^
^^ We spent the weekend in a cabin by the lake and took almost no pictures to prove it. Row boats, paddle boards, bbq, playground, sand castles, fires and bugs. Basically, my kids' ideal weekend ^^
^^ There's not much I love more than seeing all these blondies all together! Lots of evenings spent at Baba's house playing in the yard and eating her delicious cooking! ^^
^^ Frog hunting! Judah was in love! ^^
^^ An afternoon jumping around the fly park ^^
^^ Gang's all here! We gathered to watch James play baseball! ^^
^^ Rides of every kind! ^^
^^ Exhausted! They were going to bed late every night (but still waking up at the crack of dawn... why is that?!) after spending all day, every day running around outside with their cousins! ^^
 ^^ Happy (sleepy!) travelers! ^^
^^ Home! Where the sound effects are much less cool ^^
^^ Our favorite hike to Hidden Falls with some great friends from church ^^
^^ A Wednesday well spent! We sorta started a Wild and Free homeschool nature group and we had our first meet up after getting back from Alaska! So thankful for the friends we've made since that first meeting! ^^
^^ Saturday morning school at the park! ^^
^^ What our days usually look like... Lots of games, Legos and books and time spent just being together ^^
^^ Another Wednesday, another part of the river! ^^
^^ The perfect way to spend an overcast morning - forts, jammies and sleeping bags in the backyard! ^^
^^ Date night! Baba came to town on her way back from a conference in San Francisco and we gladly took advantage of the free childcare! Celebrated 8 years married (a little early) ^^
^^ Judah and his baby on their way to church, just a scene I don't want to forget. Plus the whole crew dressed and in one square, a rarity! ^^
^^ Evenings in the backyard pool - what summers were made for! ^^
