Ezra Lee... you are sugar and spice and everything nice (and wild!) You are equal parts sensitive and tough, quiet and loud, serious and silly, shy and outgoing. You are pink and unicorn everything but without fear of getting muddy and fully capable of keeping up with the big boys. You can dance ballet and fight like a Ninja Turtle, pick flowers and stomp them. You are everything beautiful, joyful, innocent, sweet, and feisty. You are LOVED.
At four years old (now four years and two months) you are reading, always writing and constantly doing mental math. I have been so amazed at how much you've grown academically this year. You love coming to the table to do school and often beg to do more than one lesson in a sitting. You are so smart, baby girl! But more importantly, you are so very kind. You take such good care of your baby brother - holding his hand on walks, feeding him, entertaining him while mom's trying to cook dinner, helping him open things, reach things and build things. He adores you and for good reason. You take the best care of your blankey and favorite stuffed animals. You help Uriah take care of the bugs you find and collect outside and you even look after me when I'm sick or tired - singing me songs in bed, covering me up with a blanket on the couch or offering to bring me food and water. You have such a loving heart, Ezra. And as if that weren't enough, you are FUN! Always up for a game or adventure, capable of making your own fun, silly more often than serious and you have the very best laugh...!
You stand at 3 feet 5 inches tall, and weigh enough to hurt your momma's back (roughly pounds)! Four years old and clinging on to that baby chub and your dad and I are far too happy about it. You are wearing 5t clothes and size 10 shoes. You have the longest, most beautiful blonde hair that has yet to meet scissors. You love swimming and bath time and playing in the sprinklers - you've always been a water babe! You're favorite color is pink, your favorite animal is a horse and when you grow up, you want to be a horse trainer (I hope those things never change!) You are a major book worm, sitting for hours in your bed flipping the pages of your favorite picture books, and Uriah's best playmate, spending all your other hours playing imaginary games throughout the house. You love fruit and bread but take way too long and too much hummus to eat your vegetables. You love to build with Magna Tiles, play Uno and draw pictures. You are extra sensitive when it comes to discipline, but apparently don't care enough to change some of your habits... ;) We love you, Ezra Lee! All your inherited quirks from your older brother and all!
