April is quickly coming to a close so I figured it was the perfect time to document March ;) The month was full of beautiful spring weather, lots of park play dates, a handful of school days and some very special visitors.
^^ The zoo with this crazy crew! ^^
^^ The last of the binki days! ^^
^^ All the girls! It has been so fun to see Ezra form friendships with girls her age, whereas our friends in Palo Alto were all boys! She might be a bit "rougher and tougher" than what they're used to, but I wouldn't have it any other way! ^^
^^ The sprinkler got turned on for the first time in March - while Judah was unsure, the big kids were thrilled and think a sprinkler and a trampoline are the greatest combination ^^
^^ Sweet Ezra came down with the flu (we think) She was feverish and tired for a few days with no other symptoms and then bounced back to her regular self, just in time for her birthday! ^^
^^ We happily kicked Judah out of his room for some Spring Break visitors! Ashley drove to Sacramento with the three kids, solo!, just to spend the week with us and I am so, so grateful. The kids had a blast with their temporary roommates and I was grateful for the company while Stephen worked! ^^
^^ All the kids wanted to go with their cousins was take them to the zoo and eat at Chick-Fil-A. We made sure to check both things off the list! ^^
^^ My sister drove into town on Saturday evening and my parents flew into town on Wednesday afternoon. It was a full house! But how fun to all be together! The kids were giddy waiting at the airport to pick them up! ^^
^^ We celebrated Ezra's birthday a day early so Ashley and the kids could be there, and just like Uriah, she wanted to go to FairyTale Town. ^^
^^ My handsome sous chef in his underwear (always!) ^^
^^ Gotta love a Nana with a camera! Always snapping pictures of our beautiful babes! ^^
^^ Kisses from Judah - the very best kind! ^^
^^ Ezra got to open a couple presents the day before her birthday and was gifted her first "look a like" doll from my parents - a horseback rider and everything! Her beautiful new "twirly dress" came from Aunt Ashley and she asks to wear it every Sunday ^^
^^ Chocolate cake with pink frosting and pink sprinkles and pink candles and pink ice cream - just the way she likes it! ^^
^^ Ezra's actual birthday was a bit slower - The Little Mermaid in the afternoon, pizza for dinner and presents from mom and dad ^^
^^ No offense to my sister and parents, but my very favorite part of March might have been my one night getaway with Stephen. I had wanted to gift him a weekend away from Christmas, but plans fell through when no one could stay with the kids. So then I tried to make something happen for his birthday. When my mom found out my sister was coming for Spring Break, she couldn't resist the opportunity to see all 6 grandkids at one time, so I told her she could come stay at my house if she hung out with my kids for a weekend ;) She happily obliged and I'm so thankful! We drove the hour south to Sutter Creek and spent two days hiking, exploring, picnic-ing, napping, snuggling, dining and BEING ALONE! It was pretty great! ^^
^^ A well check appointment for my biggest, sweetest, cutest FOUR year old! ^^
^^ Another day (or two) and another park. These bigs are always so sweet with Judah on the playground and it melts my heart! ^^
^^ Judah discovered worms! And is now my constant gardening buddy :) ^^
^^ A morning at the river with friends! Not much beats it! ^^
^^ Happy Birthday to Stephen! He was able to come home in time to enjoy dinner and cake and presents before bed. It wasn't anything special but he sure is. ^^
^^ The kids started taking gymnastics classes in March on Saturday mornings. Stephen is typically working but he got to join us for one of them, so after, we picked up Chick-Fil-A and headed back to the river. I did not disappoint! ^^
^^ Sleepy Judah, his blankey and his lions. Little scenes I don't want to forget ^^
